Our Pastor

Laurie Newman is passionate about nurturing faith and community, especially in times of transition. Now serving as Interim Pastor at Rise Church, she previously spent many years at Westminster in Portland, leading congregational care. She enjoys singing, swimming, and dancing with her partner, Jerome, and cherishes time with her two college-age sons.
